Ordering

How do I place an order?
Call us at 314-651-9860 or email Sales@bowlingshirt.com. For custom embroidery and chainstitch orders, we walk through every detail with you before production starts so everything comes out exactly right.

How long does a custom order take?
Most custom chainstitch orders take 1–2 weeks. Varsity jackets and larger bulk orders may take 3–4 weeks. Ready-to-ship items go out within 2–3 business days. We'll give you an exact timeline when you reach out.

Do you do bulk or group orders?
Yes — we handle team sets, school orders, event merch, and corporate orders regularly. Pricing is quantity-based. Contact us with your quantity and we'll put together a quote.

Can I send my own garment to be embroidered?
In some cases, yes. Contact us first to confirm the garment is compatible with the technique you want (chainstitch, chenille, computer embroidery) and we'll let you know if it's feasible.

Chainstitch Embroidery

What makes chainstitch different from regular embroidery?
Regular machine embroidery punches stitches flat into the fabric. Chainstitch loops each stitch through the one before it, building a raised, rope-like chain of thread. The texture is 3D, catches light differently, and looks unlike anything a modern commercial machine can produce. It's done on machines from the 1950s, guided entirely by hand.

What can be chainstitched?
Names, words, school names, mascots, and custom text. Simple graphic designs are possible depending on complexity — contact us to discuss. We embroider on sweatshirts, tees, camp collar shirts, and other garments.

Do you do chainstitch at live events?
Yes — we bring the machine to weddings, brand activations, pop-ups, and other events and embroider pieces on-site. It's a crowd draw. Contact us to book.

Shipping & Returns

Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in the US. International orders are possible on a case-by-case basis — contact us for a quote on international shipping costs and timelines.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free standard shipping on orders over $75.

Can I return a custom order?
Custom and personalized items are not eligible for return unless there's a defect or error on our end. We do a design confirmation before every custom order to prevent issues. Ready-to-ship items may be returned within 14 days.
